Alastair Seeley’s 2015 North West 200 Hat Trick

Alastair Seeley secured a hat trick of race wins during the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200.

Opening supersport race saw Alastair competing on TAS Racing prepared GSX-R 600 Suzuki, the wee wizard would go onto produce a performance of the highest quality.

He was victorious in a compelling race as he chalked up his 13th race victory around the triangle.

Supersport race two would see the North West 200 specialist involved in a thrilling race long battle with Glenn Irwin and Lee Johnston.

At the end of the six lap race Alastair was victorious as he made it back to back supersport race wins and his 14th North West 200 success.

Next up was the opening superbike race. Tyco BMW rider Alastair would be involved in another great battle for victory this time with eight times TT winner Ian Hutchinson, nine times TT winner Bruce Anstey, Lee Johnston and Michael Rutter.

The five lap race saw a compelling final lap which would provide Alastair with his 15th race victory at the North West 200.

He is now the joint most successful rider at the iconic road race alongside Robert Dunlop on 15 victories.

Second superstock race would prove to be another more than productive race for the now joint most successful rider in history at the Portstewart based road race.

Second place finish was achieved as he just missed out on his fourth race victory during the 2015 North West 200.

Overall though the meeting was an undoubted success for Alastair Seeley who now holds the honour of been the joint most successful North West 200 rider in history with 15 race victories.
