By Justin Hanse incorporated himself into the IRRC race winners’ fraternity, following a dominant display within the final IRRC Sportbike race of 2026.
Hanse racing under the Motorradtke GYTR Pro Shop by Penz 13 banner, assimilated the treacherous, inclement conditions at Frohburg best, swiftly breaking the challenge of 2026 IRRC Sportbike Champion Jamie Williams and 2024 IRRC Superbike Champion David Datzer (Racetastic4 by Datzi55 Road Racing Team – Aprilia).
Whilst Hanse (race winning advantage – 8.338 seconds) was in total command, the race for second between Williams and Datzer, proved less clear cut.
Ultimately, second went the way of IOM history maker Williams (NCE Racing – Aprilia) by 0.339 of a second.
Wally Jacobs (Racing Team Block – Aprilia) fourth, sealed runner-up spot within the final IRRC Sportbike Championship standings.
Thomas Wendel (TMG21 Racing Team – Aprilia) grasped fifth, Frohburger Dreieck newcomer Dale Brew (AM Racing – Aprilia) impressed again, finishing a fine sixth.
