Running simultaneously with the IRRC season finale at Frohburger Dreieck, the final EWC (Endurance World Championship) round of 2026, the Bol d’Or (89th edition), race sensations are-poised to get underway tomorrow from 3:00 PM (local time) with competition activities ending the day after at 3:00 PM.
2014 World Supersport Champion, six times a World Superbike race winner, Varsselring, Hengelo experienced Dutch star Michael van der Mark (BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team) set today an EWC, Paul Ricard Circuit qualifying lap-record (1.50.744).
The official EWC lap-record for this race (1.52.506), was-achieved last season by Alan Techer (FCC TSR Honda France).
But of course, our main-focus is on how current, former international roads/hill-climb scene aces fared within Thursday, Friday’s Bol d’Or qualifying stints.
Saturday, Sunday’s event program also includes the 23rd Bol d’Or Classic, featuring French hill-climb road racer Jules Boyer, previously this year Brittany Hill Climb Championship overall winner at ‘Course de Cote de Plumeliau’ (BFP Racing – Kawasaki – Post Classic 750).
