2026 Manx GP Chat: Quadruple Podium Finisher Eddy Wormald

“Two seconds and two thirds, one on each bike, it’s been a good week.”

Eddy Wormald’s second Manx Grand Prix expedition went superbly with the No Limits Racing, Pirelli Super Series Sport Trophy front-runner racking up four podium finishes, finishing runner-up from Road Racing News Sportbike, Okell’s Senior race contests on the Flitwick Motorcycles/SMV R7 Yamaha and his own teams’ GSXR 750 Suzuki.

Stating on Monday that he ticked off a major goal, in reaching the 120-mph lap-mark during the Senior race (120.724 mph – new personal best lap speed – eighth fastest MGP racer in this decade), Wormald last year’s second quickest event debutant, said:

“Only my second year, wanted to do a 120, I’ve done a 120.7, so not far off 121 so happy with that.”

The twice Oliver’s Mount race winner now has-aspirations for TT action next year.

“I’d like to, I wanted to do a 120 and don’t get wrong I know them boys are going a lot quicker than that but that was my goal so, yeah I’d like to go to the TT.”
