Before the Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT Races, the penultimate round of this year’s BeNeLux Trophy and final Belgian Twin Trophy (BTT Super Twins/BTT Stock Twin 650) series round commenced at the Jules Tacheny Circuit in Mettet, Belgium (2010 circuit opened near old street-circuit).
No strangers to roads circuits thrills competing included new confirmed series Champions Yan Ancia (BeNeLux Trophy Superbike), Sander Claessen (BTT Super Twins) and Raf Roobrouck (BTT Stock Twin 650).
The BeNeLux Trophy Supersport Championship battle between Antoine Laloi and Jaimy Deleersnyder rolls onto the season ending races at Assen (18th-20th September – concurrently run alongside BSB/support Championship races).
Three-wheeling, TT experienced, pure roads experienced aces, tackling the Northern Sidecar Cup Mettet races included Renzo Van Der Donckt/Vale Van Der Donckt, Eric Lenser/Anais Rosset, Manuel Moreau/Alice Roba, Raymond Leijdekkers/Calvin Leijdekkers and Hilbert Talens/Felix Pinkert.
Whilst focusing on the Belgian, Dutch roads scene, it is a good time to celebrate the achievements of ESR 2026 runner-up, twice IRRC Champion Laurent Hoffmann, IRRC Sportbike Championship contender, Mountain Course newcomer Wally Jacobs and Jeffrey Vromant within the 2026 Manx Grand Prix, huge well done to all!
