2026 Euro Moto Round 2, Brno: Roads Competitor Watch

In contrast to current TT race week conditions, last weekend at Autodrom Brno in the Czech Republic, perfect sunny weather greeted the second round of newly titled Euro Moto (former IDM) series.

Across the Pre-TT and TT period, there were also events such as the WBB Challenge at the Nurburgring in Germany (double race victor of this meet, two-times IRRC Superbike Sebastien Le Grelle, Eddy Takkenkamp and Jerome Varlet also competed).

Poznan, Poland racing endeavours, featured six-times IRRC Supersport Champion Marek Cerveny, Tomas Borovka, Karel Pesek, David Kuzela, Ludovit Krusina.

Dawid Dziedzic, Marek Zima, female racers Chloe Battu and Sarka Schmidtova.

Back to Euro Moto at Brno, roads scene craftsmen competing included Thijs Peeters (projected in main article image from Hengelo-Varsselring in May, TT 2026 themed weather!), Marvin Siebdrath and Jef Van Calster, all IRRC race winners.

One note on the IDM series, five years back in 2021 season, TT 2026 competitor David ‘Datziii’ Datzer, placed overall fourth within the Pro Superstock 1000 Cup behind class Champion of that year, Circuit de Chimay lap-record holder, Come Geenen.

Final Championship round in 2021, was at the legendary Frohburger Dreieck (2026 IRRC finale hosts, 19th-20th September).

The next Euro Moto will be at another Czech circuit, Most (26th-28th June), the same time as the Around A Pound Tandragee 100 and Zilina-Dolny Hricov Airport races.
