By Imatranajo Supersport front-runner Niko Lehtiranta, is the latest overseas talent poised to debut at the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200 in 2026.
Lehtiranta, three times a national Superstock 600 Champion, has secured a ride with Parker Car Transport Racing, to jockey YZF R6 Yamaha equipment within the Supersport encounters.
Ready for the next significant challenge in his racing career, the 21-year-old Finnish rider, recently said:
“It is exciting to race at the Northwest 200. Big thanks to Parker Car Transport Racing team for the opportunity.
It is a new challenge for me, and I am going there to do my best!”
Parker Car Transport Racing Team Owner, Gerry Parker, whose team will run Don Gilbert alongside Lehtiranta in this year’s NW200, added:
“I am proud to have Niko on-board, and I am excited about what is to come with this project.
No doubt about it, Niko is fast and aggressive!”
