Wins record holder, premier SBK race winner in 2010 and 2012, 1000cc, Supersport lap-records, 40 + podiums, Alastair Seeley has seen it and done it at the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200.
Earmarking a 30th Triangle course victory, the ‘Wee Wizard’ (potentially entering the Superstock/Superbike races) pilots in May as previously reported, Binch Pro Racing’s 3B Construction supported Ducati.
Speaking during the 2026 NW200 launch event, the Carrickfergus ace stated:
“I had thought it would be good to equal my race number-34- but 30 is a nice round number so we will go for that.
I have had an elbow issue that has hampered me for a while and before Christmas I got it sorted with an operation.
Now I am back in training and building up to full fitness in the gym and riding off road.”
Victorious within thirteen of his last fifteen NW200 ventures, he went onto add:
“This will be the first time in my career when I will have a training bike. I have a Ducati for track days so I can get out at Bishopscourt and Kirkistown.
And there will be pre-season testing in Spain and I will be at the official BSB tests as well.
I am lacking track time so I do need to play catch up and get some mileage done because I haven’t ridden since last year at the Northwest and a lot of the opposition will have been doing BSB gigs.”
