It is fairly, astonishing to have to report this the 56th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix has been cancelled.
Watching the live stream, it’s easy to see why the scheduled twelve-lap race won’t take place.

Despite previous positive looking forecasts, the weather turned vehemently torrential this morning, firstly halting the intended warm-up session before confirmation that race action was called off.
Yesterday, Davey Todd had scooped qualifying honours ahead of Erno Kostamo and FHO Racing BMW team-mate Peter Hickman.
An intriguing race loomed only for one of the most dominant roads forces of 2024 to take over, the rain!
Race Update:
Rather bizarrely first, second, third place finisher trophies were given to the top three within qualifying, Davey Todd, Erno Kostamo, Peter Hickman.
National Superstock 1000 Champion Todd additionally received the fastest lap-trophy.
