300 Curves Of Gustav Havel: Race Day Round Up

For various roads aficionados, in particular from UK shores, the main highlight of this year’s 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting, was Banbridge’s Shaun Anderson recording a fourth successive Super Mono class victory.

Piloting again the highly regarded Kramer Motorcycles machine, the former Newcomers A Manx GP runner up produced a quite masterful performance yesterday at Horice, sealing a fourth Super Mono race win at Horice with a winning margin of just over eight seconds, over nearest pursuer, Super Twins race winner Petr Najman.

Joining Kramer Motorcycles Anderson in the race winners circle on Sunday, were respective class victors Radek Lamich (125 Sport Production), David Rezac (250) and Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil (125 GP).

We mustn’t forget as well that Matthieu Lagrive, claimed back to back Supersport triumphs, securing victory in the second middleweight class encounter, by the modest margin of 1.22 seconds.

Kamil Holan, again provided the leading opposition to Wepol Road Racing’s Lagrive, whilst the battle for the third was won by Michal Vecko, keeping at bay opening Supersport race rostrum finisher Petr Wiesenberg.

Overall another great 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting, which had all the factors like great weather, large enthusiastic crowds, plus a truly world class entry battling it out for respective class wins, that make roads competition at Horice so loved not only in the Czech Republic, but also worldwide.
