As a high quality battle ensued for second, out front Kamil Holan showcased again why he is regarded amongst the Czech Republic’s leading closed roads exponents by producing a faultless display on the Dafit Moto Racing Yamaha, in the sole Supersport race of the 2018 300 Curves of Gustav Havel races.
Never headed in the race, which was red flagged on lap 10 following an incident involving Krystian Paluch, the 2012 Newcomers A Manx GP winners race, winning advantage stood at plus 11 seconds over the closely matched Thomas Walther and Christian Schmitz.

IRRC Supersport front runners Walther and Schmitz were covered by just over 0.3 of a second after nine laps, whilst fourth placed Jochen Rotter was only a further 0.6 plus off sealing a podium finish.
Czech roads specialists Richard Sedlak and Michal Vecko finished fifth and sixth, Max Gaube claimed a very creditable seventh place finish, whilst IRRC Supersport series leader Matthieu Lagrive concluded his maiden weekend of competition at Horice with a solid eighth place finish.
Concluding the first ten finishers, in a race which saw a diverse international field battle it out for class honours were Betontransport backed Petr Wiesenberg and Daniel Schmidt.
