New challenges await the participants in the 2026 European Hill Climb Road Race Championship, held under the FIM Europe patronage.
The same time trial tracks as from last season host Championship rounds albeit there is a question mark, in relation to traditional summer-time event, Luckendorf in Germany.
Not currently part of the provisional calendar, the previous two years it has hosted the final series round.
For reminder, 2025 European Hill Climb Champions were Maurizio Bottalico x2 (Superbike plus Supersport), Guido Testoni (250 GP), Cosimo Sozzo (Supersport 300) and Austrian rider Phillipp Neumuller (Supermoto).
Superbike and Supermoto class runner-up was Manx Grand Prix experienced racer, IRRC Chimay SBK wildcard from 2022-2024, Salvatore ‘Salvo’ Sallustro (born in Noto-Avola, Sicily, now living in Vicenza, Italy).
Recording the same feat, runner-up in two classes (Supersport and 250 GP), Thomas ‘Uccio’ Altendorfer (hails from Linz, Austria) graced the Superbike race podium at Dymokury in 2025 plus sampled Frohburger Dreieck (IRRC wildcard) and the ‘Czech TT’ IRRC Horice meeting as a wildcard (undertook same project in 2024).
The European continent 2026 Hill Climb Champions, will be crowned after final races at the Italian gem, Spoleto/Forca Di Cerro. This event is inter-twined with CIVS Championship races, (Landshaag and Julbach are also elements of Austrian Hill Climb Championship).
Those attending whether as competitors, team members, spectators are sure to be warmly welcomed across all series rounds.
