Still the only current, active road race circuit in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland to host three wheeling thrills, road racing fans throughout the UK, Europe, worldwide, love witnessing up close the ever-spectacular outfits at Scarborough.
Nine crews have entered the pending Cock O’The North, J.Hughes Plant Sidecar races.
Southern 100 Sidecar Champions Kieran Clarke/Rob Coppock (Eddys Moto Tadcaster – Christie Engineering Services Yamaha), will be tough to beat.
Victorious x4 during the Barry Sheene Festival, Clarke/Coppock joined a very select assemblage of crews to lap the Mount inside 1 minute 56 seconds, showing poise, raw visceral speed around North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’.
Anticipated co-front runners throughout this weekend include Scarborough racing mainstays the Ramsdens Steve & Matty (Louis Christen Racing Honda) and Carl Fenwick joined again in Shelbourne Yamaha apparatus by 2024 TT podium finisher, Jake Roberts.
Michael ‘Jack’ Russell/Alice Smith (Louis Christen Racing Suzuki), Paul Riley/Jody James (Finecut Developments Ltd – DDM F2), Bruce Moore/Tom Dawkins (Arcadia Motel – Baker Yamaha), Greg Lambert (fitness permitting)/Andrew Haynes, add extra depth to the starting list.
Completing the F2/Pre-Injection Sidecars field are Port Erin based Davis Marshall/Ben Gale (Ellunn Mannan Joinery – GSXR Suzuki) and James Hanks/Jonathan Kirk (Greg Lambert Sidecar School/JHM Racing – Baker Yamaha).
