125/Moto 3, 400cc, CB 500, Supermoto COFTN category laurels are all up for grabs within Saturday, Sunday’s Lightweight races, sponsored by Road Racing News!
Since its’ inclusion into the Scarborough racing itinerary in 2023, the CB 500 category, has developed a hardy fan base following.
For this weekend’s race expeditions, the Honda centred class, sees’ twelve riders set to compete, including:
Reigning Oliver’s Mount CB 500 Champion Shaun O’Hara (Advanced Vehicle Alarms), Ricky Martin (Cut In Edge Decorating/Roddy Taylor Racing), ‘Tommy Club’ member David McConnachy (Kevin Liddle Motorsport).
Steven Allan, Sean Cookney (Mototec-Aztec Oils-LMG), Grant Aitchison.
Ian Carter (121 Motorbike Training), Will Kearney, North Yorkshire ‘Mini TT’ first-timers Joe Holdsworth and Sam Osborne (KNOX-Helmet City).
Surmising 400cc, 125/Moto 3, Supermoto fields, noted entrants include eight times Sidecar TT winner Dan Sayle (Falcon Electrical – Moto 3 Honda), Tony Flinton (RS 125 Honda), Supersport 400 lap-record holder Dan Frear (NLC – ZXR 400 Kawasaki).
William Grant (Cowton Racing – Ninja 400 Kawasaki), Stephen Gorton (Leigh MOTs – ZXR 400 Kawasaki), Roddy Taylor (Collard Group/Jock Borthwick Haulage Ltd – RVF 400 Honda).
