England’s pure road racing nirvana, Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough, speeds back this week into principal focus for roads scene competitors, teams, superfans.

Traditionally boasting pleasant weather, (forecasts looking positive!), the Cock O’The North carries a chilled-out atmosphere, typically gains a wide ranging, varied entry-list, and this year it is much the same.

Full grids per class are beckoning, with more than thirty previous race winners at North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’ entered.

Spotlighting the HMH Civils Supersport A & B races, fifty-three racers have attained competition bursts.

130 Mph Club TT member, top six Monster Energy Supersport TT finisher Rob Hodson (SMT Racing/VRS Recovery – Yamaha) returns, targeting enhancement of a circuit wins tally, currently at fifteen.

The premier middleweight category starting-list, features tens more, roads scene talents, new wave, increasing, experienced, ever green, including:

VRS Racing’s Andy Smart, quickest Manx Grand Prix newcomer of 2024, Johnny Stewart, Sam Johnson, making a surprise appearance on 600cc apparatus, the all-time most winning rider at Scarborough, Ian Lougher (Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments – Honda).

Darley Moor supremo, Doncaster’s Mark Goodings (LMT Motorsport – Yamaha), Eddy Wormald, Brandon Brinded, Jack Worth (Warrior Racing – Triumph), Joey Lambden, Craig Szczypek (Manor Flooring and Oxman Carpentry – Kawasaki).

Toby Shann (Add Plant – Triumph), Oliver’s Mount CB 500 Champion Bailey Harker, Dan Forbes (FB Racing), Aran Sadler (AS Electricals – Kawasaki), Arthur Gissing (NLC Components – Yamaha), helped by good friend, top five TT finisher Jim Hind.

John Marsh, David McArthur (Fostec Engineering – Yamaha), Oliver Dean, Grant Aitchison (J Stewart Garage Services – Yamaha), Mick Goodings (Motor Craft Developments/Bike Tyres Leeds – Kawasaki), Daniel Pearson.

Local favourite Paul Marley, Justin Collins, Martin Robbins (D&M Racing – Honda), Aarron Cooke, Stephen ‘Degsy’ Degnan, Jack Sim and Roddy Taylor bringing his distinctive sounding F3 MV Agusta.

Newcomers looking to create foremost impressions include Aberdare Park Welsh Open victor, cousin of Moto 2 race winner Jake Dixon, Ryan Dixon (Trickbits Racing – Triumph), Italian rider Enrico Rocchi.

Blake Kelly (Unrestricted Isle on You Tube – Yamaha), Matt Bell (Plumco Sheffield – Kawasaki) and National Superstock 1000 race winner, BSB points finisher, former works Honda rider, Franco Bourne (Cowton Racing – Kawasaki).
