England’s sole real roads circuit, Oliver’s Mount, had it’s first competition burst of 2025 this weekend, as Scarborough welcomed Sorrymate.com Hill Climb racers including Chris Graily, time trial specialists Dave Ward, David Peat and road racing author, enthusiast Joel Campbell.
Twisty, traditional shorter in distance hill-climbing action took place with nine different classes of machine apparatus taking to North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’.
Fastest overall today from traditional hill climb explorations was Drakart S6 Superlites pilot Adam Holroyd, recording a best time of 45.04 seconds (60.40 mph).
Vintage field pace setter Dave McCoy exceeded his own category record-time, lapping at 47.01 seconds.
Mark Bates pipped Mark Rushton to top Superlite exponent honours whilst sixth speediest outright Robin McNeil, claimed both 401-700cc, 701cc mainstream class wins.
Respective Supermoto, Sidecars/Trikes, RWYB (Run What Yer Brung), 201-400cc, 200cc division winners were:
Clint Davis, Bradford’s Aaron Hall/Gareth Rawling, Stu Mills, Jack Weston and Andy Mayo.
