Thorburn abord MT10 SP Yamaha apparatus, attained a best time of 2 minutes 15 seconds (equating speed wise to 163.73 kilometres per hour).
Second, third quickest respectively were Daniel Pepper (2 minutes 16 seconds), Shane Miller (2 minutes 17 seconds).
Last year’s ‘King of The Hill’ winner Sasha Drain (2 minutes 21 seconds) edged Jean-Pierre Bouchet (2 minutes 22 seconds) for class 2 spoils.
Husqvarna FS450 propelled James Carley scooped class 3 honours, class 4 honours were swept up by Nick Green, who was astride 17 years old Fireblade Honda machinery.
