2025 Autumn Bohumil Stasa Prize, Brno: Roads Competitor Watch

Automotodrom Brno first hosted motorcycle racing in 1987, when it replaced the old Grand Prix street-circuit.

The traditional Czech racing season opener, the Spring Prize of Brno was-not held this- year due to preparing new tarmac for returning in summertime after five years, Moto GP races.

Last weekend, the Autumn Bohumil Stasa Prize of Brno took place, with a vibrant array of road racers, dedicated closed circuits specialists in action.

When reciting well-known roads scene names competing, we first must highlight six-times IRRC Supersport Champion Marek Cerveny, winner of both Super Twin races and P4/P3 in Supersport race bursts.

Additional roads/airport races experienced riders featuring in the Supersport class were Michal Chalupa, Martin Hulin (before that weekend wild card in IRRC Supersport at Frohburger Dreieck), Bronislav Stas, Ondrej Kubalek.

Martin Navara, Libor Kreuzmann, Michal Fiser, Jachym Barak or Dymokury experienced female riders experienced Anna Malinova and Marketa Bartonova.

Czech ace Michal ‘Prasule’ Prasek (top five finisher in IRRC Superbike races at Frohburger Dreieck last month and second fastest Dymokury Road Races competitor in history) secured a race victory and third place finish from SBK races at Brno.

There was third, fifth place finishes for 300 Curves of Gustav Havel Superbike race winner, Slovak freestyler Tomas Toth.

Whilst the SBK class also included IRRC Superbike experienced riders, Tomas Borovka and Rene Mlvky, no strangers to Czech roads circuits Tomas Milichovsky, Leos Hlavacek, Jan Huk, Martin Hajek, Radovan Stepanek, Lubos Jelinek, Michal Kodera, Petr Vajner Sr, and Tomas Spican.

Super Twins race alongside already mentioned category winner Marek Cerveny featured Martin Hrstka, Ondrej Blazek, Ludovit Krusina, Lubos Konak, David Rezac, Jan Dresner, David Kuzela, Rene Horak, Jan Sklenar and Lukas Fikker.

The Supermono, Supersport 400, 125 GP, 125 Sport Production, Moto 3, 250 Open classes contained Jan Huk (double Supermono race winner), Moritz Nestler, Ladislav Vojtko and Lubos Kycler.

Above spotlighted Anna Malinova, Roman Skoupy and Boris Korcak (Supersport 400).

Patrik Kolar and Oldrich Podlipny (125 GP). Lukas Fikker, Marek Zima, Pavel Habrda, Pavel Moravec (125 Sport-Production). Pavel Navratil, Petr Kren, Tomas Gorka and Matyas Kapral (250 Open).

Chris Meyer (Moto3) and-also P4 finisher in Moto3 class, Czech female rider Sarka Schmidtova.

Yesteryear Classic races included for example Alex Beleiu from Romania, Italian Arrigo Vinsani plus Miroslav Medek, Roman Krajco, Marek Stibor, David Karny, Petr Kunz, Lukas Berger, Ondrej Mraz, Petr Najman and various others.

Roll on next season’s middle-European road racing contests for modern, yesteryear equipment at Horice Stare Mesto, Dymokury, Kopcany, Jicin, Holic, Nepomuk, Branna plus not forgetting Airport races at Dolny Hricov and Trencin and hopefully purpose-built circuit racing meets such as covered today, Autumn Bohumil Stasa Prize.
