By Yet again the weather has won at this year’s Manx Grand Prix, forcing the cancellation of this afternoon’s contingency, evening qualifying sessions.
Let’s be honest, even the most glass half full of us from tracking weather forecasts online, expected this update.
A statement issued close to 11:00 AM, on the Manx GP’s official Twitter page, reads as follows:
“The Clerk of The Course has confirmed that due to the current weather conditions and with further bad weather forecast for the remainder of the day, this afternoon and this evening’s qualifying sessions are now cancelled.
A further update will be issued shortly with a revised schedule for the remainder of the event.”
