Road Racing News Cock O’The North preview series, has its focus fixated today towards the Road Racing Ireland, Classic Superbike races.
No quarter asked, no quarter given racing is looming, as a group of Scarborough specialists, rising stars, seasoned campaigners, compete for class spoils.
The 17-rider entry, features to name but a few:
Barry Sheene Trophy winner Don Gilbert (Isle of Man Bike Storage – Suzuki), Gary McCoy (VRS Racing – Kawasaki).
Pre-TT Classic SBK conqueror, 2023 Senior Manx Grand Prix Champion Joe Yeardsley (Mistral Racing – Kawasaki), Jim Hind (500 Norton) set to strike the forty starts mark at Oliver’s Mount.
David ‘Action’ Jackson (C.A.H RaceReps – Kawasaki), Aran Sadler (A S Electricals – Yamaha), Lee Brocklebank.
Scarborough stalwarts, Tom Weeden (Club 77 – SRAD Suzuki), Paul Marley, Roddy Taylor and Whitby’s Kristian Didelot.
The six-lap Classic SBK races, will also include a sprinkling of intertwined Supermono competition featuring Jay Bellers Smith (Smith Brothers), William Grant (Arosa Caravan & Camping Park) and Grantham’s Jack Turner.
