2018 Pre TT Classic Dates Unveiled

The dates for the 2018 Pre TT Classic Races, which retain title sponsorship from Blackford’s Financial Services have been unveiled today by event organisers Southern 100 Racing.

The traditional curtain raiser ahead of the TT Races, is scheduled next year to run from the 25th to the 27th of May.

One major change for 2018, will be the possible inclusion of Sunday racing, which at present is more a possibility than certainty, due to potentially the opening practice session of TT 2018 running on Sunday evening, should inclement weather or alternative circumstances from the previous day halt Mountain Course competition.

With this in mind the final day of Pre TT Classic action, could well take place on bank holiday Monday, the 28th of May.

One of the most popular Classic racing events worldwide, the Pre TT Classic has grown in stature in recent times, with not only more yesteryear machine enthusiasts by the bucket load attending, but also mainstream modern day roads aficionados keen to check out what’s happening at Billown.
