A remarkably interesting day for all attending the 1946 Marshals Association training led by Shaun Dalton, Chief Marshal who presented the session with great enthusiasm.
Neil Smith ‘New Chief Marshal of the Isle of Man TT Marshals Association’ was also in attendance and presented a sidecar driver extraction training using a dummy sidecar outfit supplied by none other than TT legend Dave Molyneux and a life size dummy racer from the TT Marshals Association.
This was the second of two training sessions held at Staxton, Shaun Dalton delivered the meeting assisted by Sian Mennell Club Secretary, an information-gathering presentation containing vital explanations revealing the exemplary professionalism of a Marshals commitment.
Road Racing News wish to thank One Nine Four Six Marshal Association, Michelle from GMEC for an enjoyable buffet, Sorrymate.com, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, OC Graphics, R&L Photography, GTH picsnaps, for their continued support of the 1946 and we will continue to promote the professionalism.
As without the ‘Orange Army’ there is no racing, they are there not only for the competitors but for our safety so the wonderful sport of Road Racing continues.
