Armoy Road Races organisers have received a huge boost, with the announcement that 19 times International Road Race winner Guy Martin is hoping to be ‘Race of Legends’ bound in July.
Three times an event winner, thrill seeker, TV personality Martin boasts an Armoy racing CV that additionally includes being the current second fastest racer, quickest English competitor in the event’s 12 year history.
As long as all goes to plan, the twice Senior TT runner-up latest Armoy tenure will see him as at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough last year focus on yesteryear Classics action.

Joining Martin in confirming an early interest in securing an entry for the returning ‘Race of Legends’ (30th-31st July) include the Trison McMullan Racing trio of Darryl Anderson, Ryan Fenton and 86 times Irish road race victor Barry Davidson.
2004 Senior Manx GP winner Davy Morgan, Team Dynamic Racing’s Sam Johnson, Cowton Racing’s Dominic Herbertson and new HeatTech Racing signing, Driffield’s Dan Harrison.
