By 130 Mph TT alumni Rob Hodson is the latest notable racer to confirm his intention to tackle the UK roads season opening, Bob Smith Spring Cup.
2023 action at Oliver’s Mount proved extremely productive for the twice Manx GP winner, scoring four race wins, twelve top three finishes in total.
He was also a close P2 to Joey Thompson in the feature Spring Cup race, finishing only 0.374 down on ‘Joey Yorkshire’.
Aiming to go one place better in below fifty days’ time, Hodson is set to be astride YZF R6 Yamaha machinery, thanks to Robin Croft’s SMT Racing team.
The former Macau Grand Prix winners are additionally helping supply the Wigan rider with Z650 Kawasaki, Fireblade Honda steeds for 2024 roads scene expeditions.
Greenall Racing are also back on board, as Hodson aims for more prodigious feats aboard yesteryear Superbike power at Scarborough and on IOM shores.
