Zolder Endurance Trophy: Roads Competitor Watch

Based in Heusden-Zolder, the fast, flowing Circuit Zolder since entering the motorsport landscape in 1963, has become an established cornerstone in Belgium’s bike racing, car racing history.

The 4.011 kilometres long circuit hosted on Thursday, a two-hours long motorcycling endurance race.

Laurent Hoffmann’s Hoffmann by MRP outfit were competing as were eminent Dutch roads scene force, Performance Racing Achterhoek.

Regular team riders Adam McLean/Ilja Caljouw gathering important testing miles ahead of IRRC, Northwest 200, TT explorations teamed up whilst Wesley Ankersmid aligned with former long-term, PRA team-member, Jorn Hamberg, who was riding his own squads’ YZF R6 Yamaha.

Tobermore’s McLean, Caljouw’s final finishing position stood at 42nd, tenth in class. They had the ample consolation of setting the race’s quickest lap (1.36.545 set by ZX10R Kawasaki vaulted McLean).

The second PRA team of Ankersmid/12 times IRRC race winner Hamberg positioned twelfth outright, wrapped up Supersport category victory.
