Leading French roads competitor Pierre Yves Bian will compete under the Performance Racing Achterhoek banner, for the remainder of the 2018 IRRC Supersport season having recently struck up a surprise deal with the Netherlands based outfit.
Although he’s switched teams, machinery wise it’s the same as usual for next gen roads competitor Yves Bian, who will stick with YZF R6 Yamaha machinery for the IRRC rounds at Terlicko, Imatranajo, Chimay, Horice and Frohburg.
Despite enduring last weekend a challenging time at Hengelo, there’s no doubt that the affable Frenchman has the pace and ability to contend for the IRRC Supersport crown, which he came close to sealing in 2017.

Prior to returning to IRRC action at Terlicko, Pierre’s attentions next week will turn to the Vauxhall International North West 200, as he tackles the famous Triangle course for the first time.
Speaking about his switch to Performance Racing Achterhoek, he stated via Facebook:
“I will compete from now on with the Dutch Team Performance Racing Achterhoek!!! I will continue to run on a Yamaha R6 equipped with Michelin tires, backed of course by all my sponsors for the IRRC-International Road Racing Championship!
A huge thank you to Tonny Wassink, Joey Den Besten, and the whole team!”
