Ulster Grand Prix: Maxwell Freight Services Confirmed As Twins Race 2 Title Sponsors

Renowned International Road Racing supporters Maxwell Freight Services, are confirmed to provide title sponsorship for the second Super Twins race of this year’s FonaCAB Ulster Grand Prix.

Confirmed entrants thus far for what are certain to be in early August compelling, close fought, thrilling UGP Super Twin encounters, include Christian Elkin and third place finisher in last month’s Bennetts Lightweight TT, Ashcourt Racing’s Lee Johnston.

Commenting on behalf of Maxwell Freight Services, about their renewed support of the Ulster GP, backing of the second 650cc Twins race, Tommy Maxwell stated:

“We are delighted to be back as a sponsor of our local road race. Our family has enjoyed a long association with road racing and the Ulster Grand Prix.

That has provided us with a lot of exposure for our business, as the event is famous around the world.”

Ulster GP Clerk of The Course, Noel Johnston provided additional comment:

“It is great news that Maxwell Freight Services will be back on board as race sponsors for another year.

The Maxwell family have been loyal supporters of the Ulster Grand Prix and road racing for many years, and the race organisers are very grateful for their help.”
