Alongside re signing Stroud’s Dan Cooper, Turner Racing will also run in this years Lightweight Classic TT, leading Irish road racer Michael Sweeney.
One of pure road racing’s leading 250 exponents, Skerries Sweeney in recent years within the Lightweight class at the Classic TT, has respectively chalked up eighth and twelfth place finishes.
Set to pilot alongside new team mate Aberdare Park great Cooper, TZ 250 Yamaha machinery, the two times Junior Manx GP winner has the undoubted Mountain Course pedigree to this August, be at minimum a dark horse for a rostrum finish.

Combined former Ulster GP Super Twins race winner Cooper, and 2014 Irish road race 250 champion Sweeney provide Turner Racing with one of the strongest, combined rider line up’s thus far for the 2018 Classic TT Races.
Speaking via Facebook, about their 2018 Classic TT rider line up, Roger Turner’s team stated:
