North Yorkshire road racing fans get ready for this news, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, TT Races lap-record holder Peter Hickman to debut at Scarborough!
Already considered one of the best international road racers of this century, his decision to be North Yorkshire bound soon, marks the latest groundbreaking achievement by Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough organisers.
The fourteen times TT winner is participating in this month’s Cock O’The North Road Races, piloting his own teams PHR Performance 765 Triumph (Next Generation Supersport), potentially 660 Triumph Sportbike metal.
TT 2026 saw ‘Hicky’ despite been not at 100 percent race fitness, scoop four podium finishes (P2 – Superbike / P3 – Supersport Race 1 / P3 – Supersport Race 2 / P2 – Senior Race).
Synonymous with swift adaptations to roads circuits, could he emulate Bob Smith Spring Cup winner Richard Cooper in securing multiple race-wins from his first outing around the Mount?
No matter the outcome, this is fantastic news for England’s only road race circuit, welcoming a true international road racing ‘Alien.’
