After two productive Manx Grand Prix campaigns, 2021 ACU Streetstock Champion Ryan Garside hopes to make the step up to TT competition in 2026.
No stranger to front running pursuits in British Supersport Cup races, Garside’s prospective first TT project (25th May-6th of June) sees him lead the newly created, It’s Legit Racing’s challenge.
Armed with 660 Daytona Triumph metal for Sportbike race fixtures, last August’s MGP race tussles showed the Fleetwood rider’s growing capabilities on the thirty-seven- and three-quarter miles long Mountain Course.
No lower than eleventh from races completed, he recorded top ten finishes in Supersport, blue-riband Senior contests (piloting Wignalls Chartered Surveyors sponsored Yamaha).
Ending with a new personal best lap-speed of 118.662 mph, Garside finished tenth fastest competitor outright, fourth speediest in terms of riders from England and one of just thirteen to bank, lap-speeds pushing past 118 mph.
