TT 2026: Entry Process Officially Opens

Monday real roads update and a major one at that, the entry process for TT 2026 has officially opened.

Renowned, pre-eminent names already to divulge TT 2026 plans over recent weeks, months have included:

Davey Todd (8TEN Racing), Honda Racing UK’s Dean Harrison, John McGuinness MBE, new works Triumph pilot Dominic Herbertson.

2025 IRRC Superbike Champion Darryl Tweed, Conor Cummins (Conrod Motorsport), Michael Browne (Melbray Racing/Laycock Racing), AJ Venter (TH Racing).

Julian Trummer (Smith Racing), Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Caomhan Canny (Scott Racing), 2024 RST Star of Tomorrow award winner Loris Majcan.

Sam Johnson (People’s Bike Team), Joey ‘Yorkshire’ Thompson (TH Racing), Dan Ingham (Castings Technology Motorsport), TT competition returnee, three wheeling legend John Holden/Phil Hyde, Wiggert Kranenburg/Kevin Kolsch.

Disclosed, prospective Mountain Course newcomers include 2024 Oliver’s Mount Champion Gary McCoy and Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments Franco Bourne.

30th of January, is the all-important date for when the entry process finalises, whilst it’s worth noting from studying the 2026 TT regulations, these points:

Mainstream, persistent Mountain Course front-running Super Twins like Paton’s much-lauded S1-R remain eligible. The minimum-weight per Super Twin vaults is 150 kilograms.

£2,000 pounds is what the rider securing the Privateer’s Cup honour will net, competitors are-allowed to use slick tyres for all classes, on the 27th of April, seeded exponents per solo, Sidecars will-be-unveiled.

Celebrating in May/June 119 years since it first entered the motorsport landscape, the TT Races featuring again a ten-race schedule, year in year out is witness to ground-breaking, record breaking, tumultuous moments from true super humans, pure road racers.

Reminder TT 2026 commences from the 25th of May to the 6th of June.
