Following Tuesday night’s confirmation of Jamie Coward’s withdrawal from TT 2025, KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart have since announced that the Republic of Ireland’s fastest TT exponent, Michael Browne, will be next week, first week in June at the controls of the team’s M1000RR BMW.
Browne, Irish Road Race Supersport Champion in 2022, last year’s Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix winner, was before updated circumstances, expected to compete alongside Ian Hutchinson in the MLav Racing team.
Now, instead, it’s ex FHO Racing, Josh Brookes equipment he will pilot across the 1000cc races.
Commenting about eleventh hour 1000cc TT racing changes, the quietly spoken racer stated:
“Firstly, I would like to wish Jamie a speedy recovery. I am very keen to get going with the KTS Racing team and have high hopes to better the results of last year.”
Team Owner of KTS Racing, Kevin Watret, stated:
“We are all gutted to have Jamie injured following his off at the Northwest 200 and wish him a speedy recovery. We welcome Mike on board with KTS. Let’s see if we can get him some good results.”
