South Africa is set to enjoy representation times two at TT 2024, with the nation’s quickest Mountain Course speedster AJ Venter joined by TT first-timer, Michael White.
Both Venter and White will be S1000RR BMW powered for Superbike, Superstock, Senior race conquests, racing steeds provided by Sandton BMW Motorrad.
A previous top five finisher in the TT Zero class, Gauteng’s Venter since joining the TT rider ranks in 2013, has mopped up no less than twenty-two top forty finishes.
The 70th fastest racer in TT history, his current personal best lap speed is just shy of the 126-mph lap-mark, (125.889).
New Lekka Racing Team-mate White, whilst an upcoming newcomer to the road’s scene, has a highly competent racing resume, that features national Superbike Championship success in 2018.
Keen to chip away with his progression on the fabled, mythical TT roads, he’s firmly aware that the experiences beckoning in May, June, will be unlike anything he’s previously experienced.
