Ten years since joining the TT rider ranks, the allure, gravitas of the TT Races continues to burn brightly for Market Rasen’s Phil Crowe.
Eight times a top fifteen finisher, twice a top ten finisher, his current PB Mountain Course lap speed stands at 129.957 mph, just whiskers away from the ‘130 Mph Club’.
Before free practice, opening qualifying outings aboard the Nigel Appleyard/AgriWash UK supported M1000RR BMW, Road Racing News asked the BMW Motorrad pilot stalwart, if there were any major changes in terms of team set-up for TT 2024.
England’s sixteenth quickest TT exponent, stated:
“No, major changes, just a re-run of last year but in better health. Nothing’s really changed to be fair, slightly different team this year but very much the same.”
Crowe went onto finish eighth, fifteenth on last night’s Superstock, Superbike qualifying leader boards.
