* Barry Furber is the latest racer to openly state that Sulby Straight, in particular the middle part of the section, feels smoother post pre-event resurfacing.

* You will notice the ‘eyes’ on Sam West, Chris Sarbora’s S1000RR BMW. This is due to an idea from Street Diner, title sponsor of their TT 2023 challenge.

* Worth also noting that Wilmslow’s West is the only racer at TT 2023, astride 2023 spec S1000RR BMW tackle.

* Last evening, 34 racers in terms of the Superbike times sheets, topped 120 mph.

* After Jake Lowther’s event exclusion, Alan Founds has gained a new passenger in the form of Colin Smyth, who originally was on-board with FHO Racing’s Maria Costello MBE.

* I had the honour yesterday of chatting to 76 years a TT fan, Ian Anthony Huntly.

* The man is a true TT icon, encyclopaedia of knowledge about the world’s famous road race.

* 2019 Steve Henshaw Gold Cup runner-up Mike Norbury is helping out the Peoples Bike Team’s Stephen ‘Trevor’ Parsons.

* Added respected Mountain Course pilots on mechanic, mentor, all round help duties at TT 2023 include Paul ‘Moz’ Owen, Dan Cooper and Ian Armstrong.

* Peter Hickman registered 202.315 mph through the Sulby speed trap last night!
