TT 2023: Johnson Back On Riding Duties With Jackson Racing

Widely forecast by many, David Johnson’s return to TT racing sees him link-up with the C&L Fairburn Properties by Jackson Racing team.

Absent from competitive action in 2022, after injuries sustained post an incident at the opening BSB Oulton Park meeting, he switched his intentions to commentary, linking up with TT+ lead commentator Dave Moore.

Fast forward to August and back to sufficient race fitness, ‘Davo’ was back in the saddle.

Going onto place third in the Classic Superbike encounter, this result just bulked up further the Aussie ace’s determination to get back to the sharp end of TT Races competition.

For his first TT tenure of this decade, it’s high-spec Honda’s all-round, racing CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade, CBR 600RR models in the Senior, Superstock, Superbike, Supersport races.

Prior to TT 2023, the 2019 Superbike Classic TT winner will be getting the miles in, gaining track time a plenty via opening National Superstock 1000 Championship events.
