Early into the entry process for the worldwide anticipated 2022 TT Races, a positive amount of entries
have already been placed in by prospective event participants.
At a glance just some of the most high profile racers aiming to sample the most famous road race in the world,
for the first time include most recent Manx GP Champions Nathan Harrison, Jim Hind and IRRC Supersport
series winner Pierre Yves Bian.
Others planning to join them in stepping from the Manx include Stephen Parsons, Jason Burrill, America’s
Chris Sarbora and the UK’s sole IRRC competitor last year, Mark Purslow.
Alongside Honda Racing’s Glenn Irwin, Luca Gottardi, Team ILR’s Joe Loughlin, Jamie Cringle, 2ZS Racing’s
Craig Szczypek is also targeting a maiden Mountain Course racing expedition.
Manufacturers wise, Honda, Kawasaki, BMW are all confirmed to have official representation plus potentially
Triumph, Ducati, Yamaha and reigning Lightweight TT Champions Paton.
Top line independent teams to have already confirmed their event participation include Padgetts Racing, BE Racing In Conjunction with Richardson Kelly Racing, WH Racing, Wilson Craig Racing and DC Racing.
Expect the majority of classes at TT 2022, to be firmly oversubscribed, as racers across varying backgrounds apply to take part in an event which celebrates this year, it’s 115th birthday.
