Elite performers at this weekend’s Sunflower Trophy races included North West 200 front runner, Stars at Darley Champion Richard Cooper.
Cooper astride the Boyce Precision Engineering/Russell Racing Yamaha, stormed to successive Supersport victories.
The fastest NW200 newcomer in history, went onto score today his third race win of the meeting, taking in commanding fashion Super Twins race two honours.
Top challenger to Cooper from this afternoon’s Bishopscourt Super Twins encounter, was Gary McCoy, who has already showed his real roads skills at Oliver’s Mount and the North West 200.
Kris Duncan took back-to-back Lightweight Supersport race wins, Alastair Seeley finished runner-up to Richard Kerr in the feature, showpiece JAS Finlay Sunflower Trophy race.
Steve Henshaw Gold Cup winner Adam McLean sped to top six Supersport finishes whilst Mountain Course racing titans Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop, endured by their standards below par race days, acquiring between them just one top ten finish.
