Post the past weekend’s competition at Armoy, the top 30 quickest ‘Race of Legends’ exponents have all registered lap speeds in excess of 101.3 mph.
New outright lap record holder Davey Todd registered on Saturday the first 108 mph lap (108.534), which is almost 1.6 mph faster than the previous record lap speed by Michael Dunlop.
Derek Sheils (106.720) is now the third quickest racer in history at Armoy whilst fellow countryman Michael Sweeney (106.197) also moves ahead of Guy Martin and Ryan Farquhar within the fastest event rider rankings.
Top event newcomer, Classic Superbike, Super Twins race winner Jamie Coward impressive turn of speed, makes him already the 18th fastest meeting exponent.
The only other new member of the top thirty most rapid Armoy pilots list is Graham Kennedy (101.408).
