Since Imatranajo’s return to the road racing calendar, addition to the IRRC schedule in 2016, it’s prominently showcased the talents of many current era real roads greats.
This includes the UK’s first IRRC series Champion, the quickest Imatra exponent from the past four years, Danny Webb.
Webb who made his first trip to Finland’s most prestigious, famous roads circuit in 2018, event debut culminated with an incredible new outright lap record of 1 minute 50.616 seconds.

In 2017 Le Grelle on route to victory in the final Superbike race, registered a lap time of 1 minute 50.874 seconds.
2016 IRRC Superbike Champ Vincent Lonbois (1.51.213) stands third on the fastest Imatranajo competitors list whilst the UK’s leading exponent is nine times Macau Grand Prix winner Michael Rutter (1.51.227).
Racers not mentioned yet who have lapped Imatranajo at sub 1 minute 52 seconds, are as follows:
The much missed Dan Kneen (1.51.279), local hero Erno Kostamo (1.51.388), Pauli Pekkanen (1.51.448), World Superbike points finisher Alex Polita (1.51.521), new Honda Racing signing Davey Todd (1.51.910) and German IRRC legend Didier Grams (1.51.949).
