By On route to battling to third in the feature, eight-lap Bob Smith Spring Cup, Cowton Racing’s Dominic Herbertson recorded the fastest lap of the weekend, lapping nearly under the 1 minute 50-seconds mark.
Herbertson’s best time (1.50.008) was only 0.072 of a second quicker, than Bob Smith Spring Cup winner Joey Thompson’s best time (1.50.080).
Just over a tenth down on ‘Joey Yorkshire’s pace was quadruple race winner across Saturday, Sunday, SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson (1.50.197).
The final remaining competitor to lap in the 1 minute 50 seconds bracket, was the impressive Gary McCoy (1.50.276).
Rapid Oliver’s Mount newcomer Andy Smart finished overall fifth quickest whilst in total twenty-eight competitors recorded sub 1.56 lap times, including Sidecar stars Lee Crawford/Jake Lowther and Steve Ramsden/Matty Ramsden.
