Spring Cup, Cock O’The North Set To Return To Roads Calendar

The Spring Cup, Cock O’The North Road Races are both set to return to the pure road racing calendar in 2020, following confirmation from Oliver’s Mount Racing organisers (Two Four Three Road Racing Association), about their intention to run four road race events next year.

For many years the first UK roads meeting of each season, the Spring Cup is planned to take place from the 25th-26th of April and will act as a great opportunity for various competitors to gain track time a plenty, ahead of the North West 200 and TT Races.

Just over a week after TT 2020 concludes, the Cock O’The North which will run next year under the new event name of the Cock O’The North Festival, takes place from the 20th-21st of June.

We must not forget as well that Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough action for 2020 will also include the Barry Sheene Classic and the prestigious Scarborough Gold Cup, with events respectively taking place from the 1st-2nd of August and 12th-13th of September.

It’s great news for fans of Oliver’s Mount, UK roads fans, racers, teams, various sponsors, hotel owners, local businesses that four meetings are taking place next year.

Expect as witnessed at the 68th Scarborough Gold Cup, large, enthusiastic crowds at all four events who are certain to be treated to world class, compelling, thrilling, exhilarating real road racing action.
