Announced during yesterday’s 2026 Southern 100 Media Launch, fifteen times ‘Friendly Races’ podium finisher Conor Cummins is set to rejoin S100 racing ranks in July.
The ‘Ramsey Rocket,’ a former lap record holder around the celebrated Motor Isle Billown Course, pending meeting return will see him racing his newly created Conrod Motorsport venture’s BMW (Isle of Man Steam Packet Company supported).
Absent since 2014, the 2007 Duke Road Race Rankings outlined why he has made the decision to return this year to S100 action:
“It just feels like the right time to come back to the Friendly Races.
I-have-got great memories from racing there over the years and am looking forward to returning now with my own team Conrod Motorsport sponsored by the headline sponsors of the meeting Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
I am really looking forward to getting back out there.”
