South African Speedster Venter Relishing TT Comeback

South African representation in the solo TT classes returns this year, as Africa’s fastest current TT racer AJ (Allan Jon) Venter ventures back into Mountain Course based competition.

Twice 11th within the British Supersport Championship, Venter’s first TT tilt arose in 2013, competing for Mick Charnock’s DP Coldplaning/TC Racing team.

Since then, he has built up an event CV which features seven top thirty-five finishes, a top five finish within the SES TT Zero encounter of 2019 and a personal best lap speed of 122.685 mph.

A recent front runner in the SA Classic TT series, embroiled in battles with roads icons including Michael Dunlop and Ian Simpson, Venter who is entered in all solo races at TT 2023, recently stated via Facebook.

“So, it looks like TT Races is a go for me for 2023!!!

Can’t explain how excited I am to make it all happen again! Lots of time and effort has and still is going into making this all happen!

More news to follow soon.”
