Scarborough Bike Week To Co-Inside With Next Years Barry Sheene Road Race Festival

The Auto 66 Club, have announced today that the popular Scarborough Bike Week, has been revived for next year, to co inside with the Barry Sheene Road Race Festival.

This is great news not only for fans, but also a much needed boost for the event named in honour of one of Oliver’s Mount all time greatest exponents.

Anticipated events to take place during Scarborough Bike Week, in the run up to the two day meeting, include Ride Outs, Cycle Races, Q&A’s with high profile racers, pub quizzes and various parade laps.

Looking towards this years Scarborough Gold Cup, elite roads names to have already confirmed their entries include ‘King of the Mount’ Dean Harrison, 15 times TT winner Michael Dunlop and Top Gun Racing’s Dan Hegarty.

Plus twice Lightweight TT champion Ivan Lintin, Radcliffe’s Racing’s Jamie Coward, next generation riders Adam McLean and Davey Todd, three wheeling greats Dave Molyneux and Tim Reeves.

Expect more notable competitors in weeks to come, to confirm their participation, for the blue riband Oliver’s Mount meet.
