Road Racer’s Adventures: No Limits Racing, Snetterton
The star attraction for roads scene superfans, keenly keeping an eye on No Limits Racing competition at Snetterton, was firmly 2008, 2010 Senior TT victors Padgetts Racing.

Clive Padgett’s squad, title sponsored again this year by Milenco Security Products, although ineligible for No Limits series points, made the best of the track time available as 16 times TT winner Ian Hutchinson produced a polished return to racing.

Hutchinson who’s 2023 season was wiped out due to circumstances outside his control, attained on Saturday pole position for the three Pirelli Super Series 1000 Supported by Premier 1000s races.

The Bingley rider would go onto win the opening big-bike race, finish a close runner-up to fellow Honda pilot Harrison Crosby in the following encounter.

Third, final 1000cc race activities saw ‘Hutchy’ embroiled in an enthralling tussle.

As concluding race stages neared, it looked like victory no.2 of the weekend was guaranteed with Hutchinson 1.9 seconds plus clear with the ninth, final lap approaching.

Misfortune then struck as he tipped off unscathed at Oggies.

His incident allowed team-mate, 2007 Duke Road Race Rankings Champion Conor Cummins to finish second.

The ‘Ramsey Rocket’ results resume over the past two days, read fourth, third, second.

Paul Jordan, Julian Trummer got their partnerships with Jackson Racing, off to credible starts, between them collecting four top fifteen finishes.

Prospective TT Races debutant Ryan Garside, aboard the Myerscough College Motorsport Yamaha, stormed to a hat-trick of Pre-Injection 600 class wins.

Oliver’s Mount stalwart Russell Brook, also had reason to be cheerful, opening his 2024 purpose-built circuit racing campaign with minimum finishes of third or better in the first three Super Twin races.
