Michael Dunlop’s return to the World Endurance Championship scene at Le Mans, ended in adept style, as the 25 times TT winner anchored the final stint for the Team TRT 27 AZ Moto squad.
Aboard CBR1000RR-SP Fireblade Honda tackle, Dunlop sharing riding duties with Ben Luxton, Tom Oliver, Tom Ward, helped his team bank a combined total of 790 laps!
This is equivalent to 131 Senior TT race contests!
Following the concluding completed lap of the Circuit Bugatti, the Ballymoney road racing legend gave the Team TRT 27 AZ Moto outfit a final finishing position of 16th, seventh in terms of Superstock equipped teams.
Still to officially confirm his machinery for Superbike, Senior race action at TT 2024, there’s no question about ‘Maverick’ been bike fit for the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.
This extra track time, extra layer to his pre-TT prep, should further help his history making quest at TT 2024 with the 26 victories landmark looming.
