By Taking place at the same time as the Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup, Germany’s BSB equivalent the IDM Internationalen Deutschen Motorradmeisterschaft series, 2021 season got underway at Oschersleben.
Proven roads competitors in action included MTP Racing’s David Datzer. Datzer who made his TT Races debut in 2019, has no question been one of the most active road racers during the past 12 months.
Keen to keep his racing activities fresh ahead of IRRC stints, he showed a prominent turn of pace last weekend on route to top six finishes within the Pro Superstock Cup class.
Team mate Johaness Schwimmbeck a top twenty finish last year at Dymokury, banked respective 15th, 7th place finishes from the production 1000 machinery based races.
Additional racers circulating around Oschersleben with pure road racing experience under their belts included Jurgen Welsing and ex Penz 13 BMW rider Alex Polita.
