Quadruple IRRC Supersport Champion Marek Cerveny, illustrated his undoubted qualities last weekend at the Croatian Automotodrom Grobnik venue, host of the Alpe Adria International Championship season finale.
Cerveny as across IRRC events, was 765 Triumph powered, title sponsored by WRP Wepol Racing Parts.
The opening 11-lap Supersport race around the just under 2.6 miles long Grobnik circuit, would see the Czech road racing legend place second, finishing a shade under eight seconds behind race victor, prominent World Supersport 300 exponent Petr Svoboda.
Supersport race 2 followed a similar story with Cerveny again having to give best to fellow countryman, team-mate Svoboda.
Besides Cerveny, pilots competing, that know what it takes to clinch excellent results at roads scene meetings included Horice specialist Jiri Broz, Radek Lamich and the UK’s Richard Peers Jones, Vintage Classic 350 Race 2 winner.
