Poncini Joins Caljouw, Ankersmid At Performance Racing Achterhoek
Performance Racing Achterhoek’s 2026 IRRC forary, sees leading Swiss real roads talent Mauro Poncini joining Ilja Caljouw and Wesley Ankersmid for a full season of Supersport race bouts.

Poncini, a top eight finisher last year at the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200 will be R6 Yamaha powered like PRA squad regular Caljouw and 456 plate carrier Ankersmid.

Arno, Tonny Wassink’s outfit feel they have the right balance this year, riders wise, vibing together core speed, ambition, gritty determination, ability to grab enterprising results when, they might not seem possible.

The Dutch team have confirmed as well today, plans to enter the Northwest 200 again, running afore-mentioned riders Caljouw, Ankersmid in Supersport, 1000cc races.

Last May, Adam McLean gave them a highly creditable eighth place finish in the opening Supersport encounter, besting event wins record holder Alastair Seeley, sixteen times TT winner Ian Hutchinson and two times British Superbike Champion Josh Brookes.
